The Godfather Experience – Live the Movie in Real Sicily.
After being picked up directly from your hotel, the experience begins in Sciara, in the Alcantara Gorges area, inside an ancient palmento (traditional wine press), where guests are welcomed with an introductory presentation about the tour and the iconic locations connected to The Godfather movie. From the very beginning, guests are immersed in the most authentic atmosphere of Sicily, a place where history, tradition and cinema come together.

The Engagement Scene – San Cataldo
The first stop is San Cataldo, the ancient house where the famous engagement scene between Michael Corleone and Apollonia comes back to life. The house still preserves its original charm,
guests will sit around the table exactly as in the movie scene, reliving that iconic moment in person. To make the experience even more realistic:

• life-size silhouettes of Michael and Apollonia will be available for highly realistic photos;
• traditional Sicilian accessories: vest, cap and shawl for women, will be provided
  and worn throughout the entire tour to fully immerse guests in the atmosphere.

Motta Camastra – The Real Corleone
The tour continues to Motta Camastra, the Sicilian village that represented Corleone in the movie. First stop in the iconic square where some of the most famous scenes were filmed, including the shot that frames the town as Corleone, a perfect setting for unforgettable photos
and to feel the true spirit of the movie.
The visit continues with local guides through:

• a historic artisan shop operating for over 60 years;
• the traditional olive mill;
• an ancient barber shop filled with historical photos;
• authentic streets and hidden corners of the village.

Aperitivo in the Heart of the Village
Stop at a local bar, the only one in the village, for an authentic Sicilian aperitivo and to experience the real rhythm of local life, playing Sicilian Cards with older Sicilian locals.

Lunch with the Mothers of the Village – The Real Sicilian Cuisine
Here comes the moment that truly makes the difference: le Mamme del borgo.
This is not a typical organized lunch. These are real Sicilian mothers, women of the village, who prepare traditional cuisine the way it has been done for generations, using local ingredients, skilled hands and the care only a Sicilian mother can bring to the table. It’s impossible to find something more authentic: you are not going to a restaurant, you are entering the most genuine side of Sicily, where recipes are passed down through generations and food tells stories.
The mothers will also host a cooking class, where guests will watch and take part in the preparation of traditional maccheroni, discovering the techniques, secrets and stories behind the dishes. Afterward, guests sit together for a delicious, abundant and authentic lunch in a warm family atmosphere, enriched with a subtle Godfather-themed touch that makes the experience truly memorable.

Traditional Village Desserts
After lunch, guests will enjoy local desserts, including the famous Tortella, a traditional sweet deeply connected to the identity of the village and rarely found prepared in such an authentic way.

The Godfather Tour Local Market
At the end of the tour, guests will visit a thematic market set inside a garage, where they can find:

• products related to the Godfather Tour
• and, above all, local products including artisan crafts and locally harvested
  agricultural goods.

Alcantara Gorges
The tour ends with a short visit to the Alcantara Gorges (about 30 minutes), descending via the public staircase to enjoy a quick but impressive close view of the gorges.
Guests may also choose, as an alternative to the panoramic visit, a more adventurous experience:

• Body Rafting – €35 per person, duration 2 hours
• River Trekking – €30 per person, duration 1 hour 30 minutes

At the end of the experience, guests will be accompanied back to their hotel.
