This isn’t your typical rafting experience. You don’t share the raft with others here: each participant has their own single-seater raft and tackles the descent individually.

Get ready to experience the Alcantara River from a whole new perspective. With Alcantara Solo Rafting, you pilot your own raft, choose your direction, and tackle the rapids along a course of approximately 1.5 km.
A river guide accompanies the group, providing necessary instructions and monitoring participants throughout the experience, yet each person navigates the course individually in their own raft.
It is a more exclusive, adrenaline-fueled experience designed for those seeking greater independence and wanting to take center stage in their Alcantara adventure.
How it works
After the welcome and gear preparation, each participant receives their own compact, lightweight single-seater raft.
You carry your raft to the starting point, and before entering the water, the guide holds a briefing with instructions on how to navigate the course.
From this moment on: YOU ARE THE PILOT.
The descent features a mix of intense rapids, fast-moving smaller rapids, calmer stretches, and scenic sections of the Alcantara River.
Along the way, you will tackle a major rapid, followed by a calmer stretch and a series of smaller rapids. The journey continues with another key rapid and further sections that blend currents and excitement with moments to simply enjoy the landscape.
The result is a dynamic experience that combines adrenaline, raft control, and nature.

Actual time on the water is approximately 45 minutes, while the entire experience lasts about an hour and a half, depending on the group and river conditions.

The meeting point is at the OFF-RIDE CENTER, where you will meet the staff and receive your equipment and all the necessary information before the experience begins.
Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive the exact location to easily reach the meeting point.
